Another installment of images of the so-called Valencia Metro, operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) under the name MetroValencia. This network is the result of the modernization of a series of suburban lines that the state-owned FEVE brought together and that it transferred to the Valencian community in the mid-80s, opening in 1988 the first underground section of this under Valencia, giving rise to the current transformation of this suburban network, which unfortunately leaves behind certain aspects of the old "trenet" that should not have been lost. All for the current demands of comfort and modernity. Main data: Track width: 1000mm Supply voltage: 1500vcc Safety systems: FAP (L1), ATP (L3,L5). In the Valencia metro we can find three series of material: S/UTA3700 (CAF,MTM,Macosa 1988) (only L1) UT3900 (Alstom 1995) and UT 4300 (Vossloh 2006 and in current delivery) Lines 4 and 6 correspond to the tram system, they do not appear in this video. Thanks to FGV for allowing the visit to the Machado depots.
