And one of them is the GAZ-69. Many will object, saying that this is a military vehicle. Yes and no. Indeed, the main customer of the 69th was the Main Artillery Directorate: the Soviet army needed a vehicle to replace the overly Spartan all-terrain vehicle GAZ-67, created during the war. But along with the 69th, the 69A version was immediately under development, which differed in the number of doors and seats. If the 69th is a two-door all-terrain vehicle with benches for six soldiers in the back, then the GAZ-69A is a completely "civilian off-roader" with four doors and a familiar sofa for passengers.
