If it incorrectly shows both the fuel level and the temperature at the same time, then the stabilizer in the instrument cluster is faulty or has a bad contact, it requires soldering or replacement. If you remove the connector and connect a multimeter to the middle contacts, then when the tank is full, it should show about 40 ohms, when empty, 300 ohms. You can also connect a 40 ohm resistor (resistance) to check the wiring and the fuel gauge. It should show full. If the arrow does not show at all, then there may be a break in the wire on the sensor in the tank, a breakdown of the sensor itself, poor contact or a break in the wiring from the fuel gauge to the fuel level sensor (float with resistor). ????
