In the Kötzschau Railway Museum we are showing the original speed switch from the front driver's cab of the E94 153 locomotive, as well as its signage. The locomotive was delivered by AEG in 1944 under the factory number 5860. From 1970 its number with the Deutsche Reichsbahn was 254 153-0. After an eventful life as a locomotive, it was unfortunately decommissioned in Leipzig-Engelsdorf in 1992 and later scrapped. The large handwheel was used to set the total of 18 speed levels; the red pointer shows each one.
