The film tells the story of an orphanage in the Krakow ghetto and its brutal liquidation. It describes an attempt to commemorate history, after which no material trace remains. It shows how memory can unite - different generations and places on the map. In 2017, Walkative! guides attempted to locate and mark the place where the last seat of the orphanage in the Krakow ghetto was located. Thanks to fundraising and cooperation with the Krakow Municipal Greenery Board, it was possible to create a square with a commemorative plaque. The children who died during the brutal liquidation of the Jewish Orphanage were also commemorated by planting crocuses, as part of the Krokus Project implemented by the Galicia Jewish Museum. The next step was a petition to name one of Krakow's streets after Dawid Kurzmann - the guardian of the children from the orphanage, who did not abandon them at the most difficult moment. Thanks to the help of Rafał Komarewicz, the Krakow City Council passed a relevant resolution - in Krakow we will soon have a Kurzmann Street. The story was told by Alicja Zioło, the backstage of the Walkative! guides' activities was revealed by Tomek Darda, the Krokus Project was told by Anka Wencel, and the Kurzman family's perspective was presented by Mr. Marceli Kurzman. The photographs were taken by Ania Bednarska and Krzysztof Suszkiewicz. The whole thing is illustrated by drone recordings by Piotr Zioło.
