About the speaker: Dr. Katarzyna Waszyńska – psychologist, clinical sexologist, specialist in post-traumatic stress therapy, counselor in marital and family problems, second-degree specialist in sex education. Assistant professor at the Department of Health Promotion and Psychotherapy at the Faculty of Educational Studies of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, head of the Postgraduate Studies in Sexology at the WSE UAM. Her scientific interests focus on issues related to psychology, sexology, therapy. They also include the promotion of sexual health and sexual education as an integral element of health education. She periodically collaborates with television centers in Krakow and Warsaw, as part of journalistic and educational programs. She has been conducting clinical therapeutic activity in Poznań since 1997. About the project: Strefa Psyche SWPS is an innovative undertaking, the aim of which is to popularize psychological knowledge at the highest substantive level and to discover the possibilities of action offered by psychology in various spheres of both private and professional life. We want to show the practical application of psychological knowledge not only in the spheres obvious for this field of science (e.g. assistance, therapy), but also in the business sector and advanced, modern technologies.
