Two Worlds, One Heart: The Story of Mr. Tasos, the Greek who Conquered America In the picturesque Megalo Chorio of Evrytania, we were lucky enough to meet Mr. Tasos, a man with a rich history and deep love for his homeland. Born in 1952, Mr Tasos spent his childhood in the village, a time he remembers with nostalgia. The images of a village full of life, with cultivated fields and carefree games in the square, are deeply etched in his memory. His appeal to learning led him to a remarkable career. At just 8 years old, he won a scholarship to Athens College, where he remained for a decade. Then his talent for learning led him to Houston, Texas, where he earned degrees in chemical engineering and law. America became his new home, where he built a successful career and a beautiful family. Despite his success in America, Greece never left his heart. He visits his home country as often as he can, sometimes even 3-4 times a year. His pride in his Greek origin is evident, as is his love for his place and his village. In our discussion, Mr. Tasos shared his thoughts on the differences between Greece and America. He recognized that America offers opportunities to everyone, while in Greece it is often necessary to make the right acquaintances to advance. Despite the challenges facing our country, Mr. Tassos will never stop loving and visiting Greece, a testament to his deep connection to his roots. The story of Mr. Tassos is a reminder of the power of love for country, even when life takes us away from it. It's also a story that inspires us to pursue our dreams, wherever they may take us, never forgetting where we started. #Евритания #Метанастевсий #Ελληναστηνάμερικη #greekvillagelife •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ????⚠️It is prohibited to download, modify and use excerpts or entire videos for any reason.
