The film tells the story of two lovers who love each other but cannot be together. Ferdi grows up on the farm where his father works as a butler. He and Ceylan, the daughter of the farm owner Ali Bey, love each other. They meet every day at the fountain they built together when they were children. They swear that they will love each other as long as the water of the fountain flows. However, Ali Bey wants to marry his daughter to Yusuf, an agricultural engineer who has started working on the farm. One day, Ali Bey catches Ceylan and Ferdi meeting. He beats Ferdi and tells him that he will not give his daughter to him. Thereupon, Ferdi decides to go to Istanbul. Ferdi's departure will change the fate of the couple. This is a 1976 Turkish film directed by Temel Gürsu. The script was written by Hulki Saner and the leading roles are played by Ferdi Tayfur and Necla Nazır.
