In 2008 the fishing vessel Fremad II(1888) was listed by The Directorate for Cultural Heritage. In 2016 the ship was put on our slipway, and it soon became clear that it would be a more comprehensive restoration that the preliminary condition report had estimated. On Friday the ship was launched! We've made a compilation of all the videos from the restoration of Fremad here: / MK Fremad II (1888) was granted conservation status by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage in 2008. In 2016 it came on the slipway with us, after the rig, steering, engine and deck installations had been brought ashore. It soon became clear that the rehabilitation would be much more extensive than the preliminary survey report from 2008 had estimated. On Friday the ship was launched, and Fremad II is now back on the water.
