In recent years, obesity has also become a significant health problem, affecting both adult women and men, as well as children and adolescents. Importantly, the causes of obesity are defined as complex and include, among others, psychological, environmental and biological factors. Proper diagnosis of disorders related to eating and nutrition and their correct differentiation increases the chances of effective treatment of patients. How does food addiction manifest itself? What are binge eating disorders or excessive body weight disorders? What are the criteria for differential, psychological consequences of excessive body weight?
