(????) Is the automobile the future of the train? ???? SNCF and the Railenium Technological Research Institute have unveiled Flexy, a small electric shuttle that can carry 9 passengers. This vehicle runs on both rails and conventional roads thanks to hybrid wheels. Powered by an electric motor, Flexy is not intended to become a high-speed train and will have a maximum speed of 60 km/h on the railway. The innovation is primarily aimed at small closed railway lines. It is the "train" that will come to users and not the other way around! Good news for mobility in places very poorly served by public transport.
