About :

For migrants and refugees, learning Portuguese is an essential first step towards integration in Brazil. In this video, we present details of the Portuguese language courses offered by the Ven, Tú Puedes! project, which in 2024 will include classes at basic and advanced levels. Maria, Amarilys and Ismarlys share experiences of overcoming and adapting to the new language, highlighting the difficulties and achievements in their daily lives. The Ven, Tú Puedes! project is a response from World Vision to the migration crisis in Venezuela, with actions in Roraima, Amazonas and São Paulo, which help migrants and refugees to integrate socioeconomically in Brazil. The initiative is funded by the Office of Populations, Refugees and Migrants (PRM), of the United States government. Learn more at /embaixadaeua .
