After the last train on Friday, July 14, 2017, the Odakyu 3100 series NSE (3221 x 6), which had been stored at the Kitami Inspection Yard, was sent to Sagami-Ono in the early hours of Saturday, July 15, for dismantling, towing the 1000 series (1253 x 6). This was the first time in 10 years that the NSE had run on the main line since its exhibition at the Family Railway Exhibition in 2007, and many railway fans gathered. I remember seeing the NSE when I was a child, and I still can't forget the image of the NSE when I think of Romance Cars. In the midst of all this, I heard that I would be able to see the NSE running on the main line again, even though it was being towed in the middle of the night, so I went and took some photos. I wondered if I was having an illusion. The thing I saw when I was a child was right in front of my eyes. I was overwhelmed with emotion when I saw the NSE illuminated by the morning sun. As an aside, this video was uploaded on July 16th, 2017, which also marked exactly 18 years since the NSE was retired on July 16th, 1999. This is a long video, so if you would like to see a digest, please refer to the link below.
