Life is strange! Although I really like German cars, I already own two Japanese ones made by Suzuki: a motorcycle and an off-road beast. I'm very excited about my new motorcycle, for the decent sum of 2000 euros I bought myself a super interesting toy that I can learn and that I won't get bored of very easily because the SV650 is the kind of motorcycle that no expert can call boring. It's versatile, it's light, it consumes little, it pulls well, you could almost say it's the German Golf but on two wheels. It has 72 horses, which is not a little at all, it's a lot. It has a V-engine, which means it has torque to break and the fuel system is carbureted, a bit old-fashioned. Maybe the next one will be fuel injected. The motorcycle is a naked with sporty tendencies, good for the city and decent for short and medium roads outside the city. I didn't want a speedster at first, I wanted the opposite because I wanted a cruiser but from what I understand it's better to learn on a standard motorcycle, like this one, and then move on to airplanes. The first ride with my new motorcycle was crazy, I felt like a panicked beginner who doesn't know exactly what to do but I realized that the secret is to listen to your instincts, to go ahead and not push harder than necessary.
