At the end of 2023, the first public trips with the Henschel steam locomotive KDL10 were to take place on the Meuselwitz coal railway on December 28th and 29th. Unfortunately, the locomotive suffered technical damage during the first trip, so that the subsequent trips had to be carried out with a SCHÖMA diesel locomotive as a replacement. Nevertheless, there were still recordings of the steam locomotive being towed and moved into the Meuselwitz depot.
