Finding a home is perhaps one of the biggest hurdles for those who have just arrived in France. Between requests for documents that are sometimes impossible to find, dumpy houses and scams lurking on the web, it is normal to feel a little lost. Then there are times of the year, first and foremost September, when the search becomes completely crazy, with crowds of students pouring into every medium-large sized city in desperate search of a room.
