About :

The N271 forms a picturesque route that makes the various landscapes of the region of the municipality of Bergen, Gennep and Mook en Middelaar experienceable and accessible: the Maasdal, Het Niersdal, the National Park De Maasduinen, the recreation area Maaspark Well, the Mookerplas and the Mookerheide and St. Jansberg. Various places along the N271 have been designated to be made more attractive. Five of these places will be designed as tourist resting places: a place that is inviting and recognisable, informs people, offers the opportunity to make a short stop and where one can go into the landscape. Measures are also being taken with regard to better access to the N271, or that fit the N271 better into the environment. For example, parts of the centre plans of Mook, Gennep and Bergen are part of this. More information can be obtained via www.regiovisiebgmm.nl.
