Access the link below: https://bit.ly/ebook-maes-caputo Ingredients: 4 filet mignon steaks; 2 sprigs of thyme; 3 cloves of garlic, unpeeled, coarsely crushed; 1 cup of hot water; ½ cup of dry red wine; 1 tablespoon of tomato paste; 1 tablespoon of butter; 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil; 1 tablespoon of wheat flour; 150g of paris mushrooms, cut into slices; ½ finely chopped onion; ½ tablespoon of butter (sauce); ½ dessert spoon of butter (sauce); 1 bay leaf; Nutmeg to taste; A handful of chopped parsley; Salt and black pepper to taste; Preparation method: Season the fillets with salt and black pepper In a very hot frying pan, add the butter, garlic cloves and thyme sprigs. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the fillets and leave them untouched for approximately 2 minutes on each side. Remove the fillets from the pan and transfer to a plate. Remove the garlic cloves and thyme sprigs and discard. In the same pan, add the onion, ½ tablespoon of butter, the mushrooms, a pinch of salt and black pepper. Drag the mushrooms to the side and add ½ dessert spoon of butter and the flour. Stir well! Mix everything together. Add the tomato paste and red wine. Add the water, bay leaf and nutmeg. Let it cook for 3 minutes. If you like your meat well done, add the meat to the sauce and let it cook for another 3 minutes. Otherwise, serve the meat with the sauce on top. Finish with parsley, serve and enjoy!
