The Serra do Mar is one of the most beautiful geological formations in Brazil. The Atlantic Forest predominates here, and there are still many untouched green reserves. Many people are unaware that there is a road that runs alongside the Imigrantes Highway through the mountain range. Its name is Estrada de Manutenção and it is one of the most beautiful paths to cycle on. The maintenance road is part of the Márcia Prado route, a cycling route that connects São Paulo to Santos. In this video, I show you the details of the route that connects Jabaquara to Gonzaga. It is a long, hard ride, but very rewarding.
