Fiesta Zetec Rocam Second stage of the fan tripped and would no longer turn off. We went to check the radiator hoses and the upper hose was very hot, the lower one was cold. The complete thermostatic valve kit that was in the car was from Iguaçu. This thermostatic valve had about 5,000 km on it, a valve that is still considered new. When this problem occurred, we purchased a new thermostatic valve with the complete kit as well. Easel, thermostatic valve and temperature sensor all from the WAHLER brand, original manufacturer of parts for Ford. The difference was huge compared to Iguaçu. We also had a surprise when dismantling the old thermostatic valve, I showed everything on video. We carried out tests and comparisons between the two brands, Iguaçu and Wahler.
