About :

With the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Kanazawa-Tsuruga section on March 16, 2024, the management of this section of the Hokuriku Main Line has been transferred to a third sector company. A "Thank You to the Hokuriku Main Line" ceremony was held at Fukui Station to coincide with the arrival of the last upbound local train 378M from Kanazawa to Fukui (arriving at 0:03) on the 15th. In addition to presenting bouquets to the driver and conductor, a commemorative ticket was presented by the deputy manager of JR West's Kanazawa branch to the president of Hapi Line Fukui (a third sector company that will take over the Fukui Prefecture section between Tsuruga and Daishoji). The video has been uploaded as is, without any editing.
