Release date (FC): January 7, 1987 Developer: Tose Publisher: Namco Price: 4,900 yen As the title literally translates to "The Dragon Slayer," the game is about a hero who travels to defeat the dragon that awaits at the end of each round. It is a side-view action game in which you control the main character, Clovis, and before the round begins, a round map showing the route to Dragon Mountain is displayed, and you start from the castle. The player can choose the route to Dragon Mountain at the branching points, and dungeons of different difficulty are available. When you clear a dungeon, the field becomes empty, and when you finally defeat the dragon on Dragon Mountain, you clear a round. There are 12 rounds in total. In the FC version, after clearing 12 rounds, a command to the reverse side is displayed under the message at the ending. If you press a specific button on the title screen, it will become "Reverse Dragon Buster," starting from round 13.
