Survival mode makes the game a little more difficult and much more stuffy than the normal difficulty. You have to eat, drink, sleep, put up with diseases, reduced carry weight and no fast travel. But there are also positive aspects to this. Your leveling up will be noticeably faster and more interesting thanks to the experience you receive in greater quantities and you will stumble upon interesting places more often on the way to the quest. Personally, I think Survival is a great mode that suits Fallout 4 very well.
