There are many places in Korea that boast outstanding scenery, but this time I will introduce 5 places that I think are particularly beautiful and unique. Buan Wido Daewol Folding Rock Wido is an island in Buan, and there is a strange and mysterious rock that is 40m high. You can get to Wido by boat from Buan Gyeokpo Port. If you want to load your car onto the boat, you should arrive early and wait. There are 3-4 round trips per day for Wido passenger ships. The passenger ship that leaves Gyeokpo Port arrives at Wido Pajanggeum Port in 50 minutes. In Wido, you can take a public bus to tour the island or take a taxi. To see Daewol Folding Rock, you have to cross Wido Beach and walk about 1km along a forest path. Follow the green ribbons that hang from the tree branches of the path called 'Daewol Folding Rock Geotrail' to the end. At the end of the path, when the view suddenly becomes bright, the gigantic Daewol Folding Rock appears before your eyes. The phenomenon of a stratum wrinkled in the shape of waves is called a fold. In this place, the elliptical shape of the stratum reminds me of a full moon, so it is called 'Daewol Fold'. The water rises quickly, so you should check the tide times before you go. Byeongbawi Rock in Gochang and Duam Chodang Geumbanokho (gold plate, jade pot) and Seoninchuwa (sweet immortal sleeping) in Banam Village, Asan-myeon, Gochang-gun This is a scene you see near Byeongbawi Rock while driving along the Incheon Riverside Road by the Jujincheon Stream. It is a scene of 'Geumbanokho', a gold plate and a jade wine bottle, and 'Seoninchuwa', a fairy lying down drunk. Duam Chodang and Jeonjwa Rock (Durakam) It is said that an immortal kicked the table while sleeping, and one of the cups spilled here and became Jeonjwa Rock. In front of the rock is Duam Chodang, which looks like a swallow's nest. Duam Chodang is a pavilion built by the descendants to remember the filial piety of the Byun brothers who lived in mourning for their parents after they passed away. From Duam Chodang to Byeongbawi, you can reach it by following the trail behind Asan Elementary School for about 700m. The forest path is so beautiful that I recommend walking along it. Byeongbawi Believe it or not, a liquor bottle fell here and became Byeongbawi, stuck upside down like this. The area around Byeongbawi and Duam Chodang in Gochang was designated as a national cultural heritage site in 2021. Daecheongdo Island, located far away in the West Sea, is a treasure trove of tourist resources with many things to see. If you take a speedboat from Incheon Port Coastal Passenger Terminal and travel for about 3 hours and 40 minutes, you will arrive at Daecheongdo Seonjinpo Pier. Nongyeo Beach / The most wanted Naite Rock Mia-dong Beach / Sunbigi Flower, a strange rock reflecting in the sea Sunbigi Flower (blooms from July to September) Okjuk-dong Coastal Sand Dune / Korea's Sahara Sand Beach / Red Pine Grove Seopungbaji Trekking Course / Daecheongdo Highlight Seopungbaji Course trekking starting from Gwangnandu Jeongjagak is also highly recommended. Byeongbangchi Observatory Park at the Byeongbangchi Zip Wire parking lot and climb up to the free observatory. Search; Byeongbangchi Zip Wire or Byeongbangchi Skywalk From Byeongbangchi Observatory to Gasu Branch School (17km) Search: Jeongseon Elementary School Gasu Branch School (7 Sumi-gil, Jeongseon-eup) Gasu-ri Zelkova Tree (570 years old) From Gasu Branch School to Mirinae Falls (2km) Search: Mirinae Falls or Gasu Bridge 3 If you go towards Mirinae Falls, you will find an observatory. Mirinae Falls (Wine Glass Falls) From Mirinae Falls to Gaemi Village (6.5km) Search: Gaemi Village From Gaemi Village to Munchijae Observatory (19km) Search: Munchijae 732m There is an observatory just after going over the steep hill leading to the summit of Munchijae.
