As part of his stay at the Institute of School Administration at the University of Mons, Prof. Bissonnette gave a lecture entitled "Explicit teaching to manage student behavior in the classroom and at school: for a safe living environment that promotes teaching and learning" on 27/11/18. This lecture presents concrete strategies for effectively managing student behavior in the classroom and at school. These strategies are of two types: preventive and corrective. Thus, effective management of behavior in the classroom and at school involves the implementation of a set of proactive interventions to prevent student misconduct, but also the use of corrective strategies to intervene with those who exhibit misconduct.
