Project developer Heijmans is committed to the spatial planning of the Netherlands on a daily basis, with the aim of improving it within a healthy living environment. A healthy soil is the basis of a healthy living environment and can bring us a great deal. These benefits are also called (ecosystem) services. By this we mean water regulation, biodiversity and climate regulation & mitigation. Heijmans, together with the WUR, has identified seven pillars that form the basis for a healthy soil. During this expert meeting, Jan-Willem Burgmans, Biodiversity Program Manager, will explain this vision based on the following questions: Why is a healthy soil necessary? What does a healthy soil look like? What can you do to contribute to this?
