The #Qassam_Brigades gave the residents of the occupied city of #Ashkelon until 5 pm today to leave. The #Qassam_Brigades indicated that this comes in response to the crime of the #occupation displacing the people of #Gaza and forcing them to leave their homes in several areas of the Strip. The World Health Organization called for the opening of a humanitarian corridor to the #Gaza Strip. The organization announced in a statement that the medical supplies that were stored in Gaza had run out. It confirmed that thirteen attacks had taken place on health facilities in Gaza since the start of the escalation. A spokesman for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced that the displacement movement in Gaza has worsened to more than 187,500 people since last Saturday, expecting more displacement in the coming days. The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, said that imposing a blockade that endangers the lives of civilians by depriving them of basic goods is prohibited under international humanitarian law.
