This case involves a medical imaging machine designer, Doug Dietz, from General Electric or GE Healthcare. One day, Doug, who had just finished designing a new MRI machine, went to visit one of the hospitals that used his machine. At the hospital, Doug was shocked and sad after seeing a child who was very afraid to enter his MRI machine, the child even cried and begged not to be put into the machine. Because of this incident, Doug was determined to find a solution, and he did it with a Design Thinking approach. What innovation did Doug make?
