This is the second video dedicated to the memory of Denis Masharov. This lecture is about the evolution of typesetting fonts: from the birth of European book printing and Venetian dynamic antiques to the first representatives of the class of classical antiques (Baskerville and Fournier). There are at least two more lectures from this series to come. Denis is no longer with us, but by publishing this series of archival video lectures recorded in 2016, I am trying to preserve his legacy. Be sure to watch, save and distribute the recording of this, the previous and subsequent lectures by Denis Masharov.
