More details➡️: / @artempankovich In this video, I will show how to replace the water pump (or cooling system pump) on a third-generation Skoda Octavia with an EA211 engine (2013–2020) 1.4 TSI. This model has an interesting design feature: the pump is installed in an unusual place - at the rear of the cylinder head, above the gearbox. The pump is installed in a housing with two thermostats and is driven by a separate toothed belt, which adds complexity to the replacement and detection of a possible coolant leak. If the pump starts to leak, the coolant flows down, behind the gearbox, which makes it difficult to detect the leak. Although the procedure is not very complicated, it is important to correctly align the engine and tighten the belt in the right position. In the video, I will explain in detail how to do everything correctly to avoid mistakes during repair.
