Hello friends! today I bring you typical Nordic landscapes from Norway or Iceland but in Argentine Patagonia. It all starts in Pampa Linda, Bariloche, where I found many incredible trails from reaching Tronador, Lago Frias or crossing into Chile. An area that I think deserves about 15 days to explore so much beauty worthy of any EPIC landscape in the rest of the world. HOW TO GET TO PAMPA LINDA By bus: In the summer season there is a minibus that takes about 2 hours to Pampa Linda (reservation required). By car: It is 85 km in total. On National Route 40 that goes to El Bolsón, you have to travel 36 km until the detour that is on the right once you pass Villa Mascardi. Along the gravel road and a few meters away is the Lago Mascardi Park Ranger Station, where you will pay the entrance fee to the Nahuel Huapi National Park. From this point it is 50 km further to Pampa Linda. REFU ILON Accommodation in Domes (beds) and camping area (reservations required) Trekking registration is required. It operates all year round, in winter the use of snowshoes and snow equipment is essential. HOW TO GET TO ILON FROM PAMPA LINDA Approximate time: 4 hours (8 km). You leave from 850 meters above sea level in Pampa Linda and the Laguna is at about 1380. The first 30 minutes are relatively flat, where you cross the Alerce River on a suspension bridge. Then the climb begins, which takes about 1 hour and a half to two. Once this section is over, the trail flattens out and, for approximately another hour and a half, it runs through the lenga forest that leads to Laguna Ilon. ILON SHELTER: The main dome is for the kitchen and living room, with capacity for about 20 people. 1 bedroom dome with capacity for 30 people in bunk beds. 4 Domitos: 2 Domitos for 2 people and 2 domes for 4 people.
