Video presentation of our site for the cleaning, asbestos removal and careful deconstruction of the Beaulieu wasteland, with integration of the circular economy. The "Beaulieu" site, located on the banks of the Lys (6.5 ha), was home to a former company specializing in the manufacture of laminated parquet floors. Closed since 2009, the City of Bousbecque wanted to make this former industrial site an exceptional and innovative place to offer residents an experimental place for living together while respecting Man and Nature. Originally consisting of 28,000 m² of warehouses and nearly 10 hectares of natural and agricultural spaces, 10 months of work were necessary for our EPC DEMOSTEN teams to finally make the site ready to accommodate this new housing project. This "test" site on the circular economy component must now serve as an example for the rest of our client's projects. Indeed, 90% of the site's materials were able to be revalued via the reuse sector, and the remaining 10% integrated into the recycling sector. Congratulations to our EPC DEMOSTEN teams for their expertise and thank you to our client for their trust. Thanks also to our partners and project managers who were able to support us throughout this exceptional project.
