I set off from New York single-handedly towards South Africa. My first stop is in the Azores and after 21 days and 2368 nautical miles I reach Horta. The trip is influenced by the Gulf Stream, but is also characterized by strong winds and calms. As always, I give a good insight into my weather navigation. Of course, I still have no idea that I have set off on the last big trip with the Jambo, which will sink in the South Atlantic just over two months later. Have fun!
