Heuliez supplies Qbuzz with 49 buses of the type Heuliez GX 437 Elec Linium that will run on Q-Link lines in and around Groningen. The Heuliez buses (will) run on lines 3 (Tolbert/Leek -Groningen - Ruischerbrug), 4 (Roden - Groningen - Beijum) and 5 (Annen - Groningen - Tersluis/Harkstede). The buses can drive 120 kilometers on a battery, then the buses must be recharged at the fast charger at the end points and at the end of the day they must be recharged at the slow charger at the depot. A bus is 18.2 meters long, weighs 21235 kg and can transport 107 passengers. In the new concession Groningen-Drenthe 2020-2030 (GD2020) the buses will run under the fleet numbers 7401-7449. The high numbers will be the blue buses for Q-Link lines 3 and 4, the low numbers for the purple Q-Link line 5. Bus 7401 will be grey to be able to drive on both lines without an incorrect colour scheme. In addition to these new Heuliez buses for the Q-Link lines in Groningen, Qbuzz has ordered several new bus types for the new concession: 43 VDL Citea SLF 120 and SLFA 180 buses for the city services of Groningen, Emmen and Assen, 60 Ebusco 2.2 LE buses for the regional lines, 24 Mercedes-Benz Citaro C2 LE and 22 Mercedes-Benz Citaro C2 G buses in addition to the Ebusco 2.2 buses, also for the regional lines and 49 Setra S 419 UL and 4 Van Hool Astromega (DD) buses for the Q-Liner lines. The old Van Hool Double Deckers, electric VDL Citea SLFA 181 BRT, Ebusco 2.1, Mercedes-Benz CapaCity (Facelift & C2), and a part of the Mercedes-Benz Citaro C2 LE/G buses will continue to run. In addition to Groningen, Utrecht will also get these buses, 35 pieces for the Utrecht city lines 3, 7 and 8.
