The planned expansion of the Kaunertal power plant will see the construction of a 120-meter-high and 450-meter-wide dam in the Platzertal. By bike through the Pfundser Tschey to the Platzertal junction (1720 m). Continue past the dilapidated buildings of the ore and silver processing plant to the Platzeralm (2180 m). Up to the Platzertal junction, the gradients are up to 10%. After that, it is on average around 15%. An E-MTB is highly recommended here.
