Kathi Groll gives you three tips for visiting Dresden from the water perspective: Tip 1 Kathi discovers canoeing. Alongside coach Andreas Pohl from TSV Rotation Dresden, she has to steer her narrow boat through the current on the Elbe. Tip 2 If you prefer something more relaxed, you can sail along the Elbe on a raft and enjoy the panorama of Dresden's old town with the Königsufer and Terrassenufer from the Elbe. Past the paddle steamers and saloon ships of the White Fleet, Frauenkirche, Brühlsche Terrasse and Semperoper. Tip 3 The floating hotel ship "Pöppelmann" offers stylish accommodation. Built in 1963 as a diesel-electric paddle wheel ship, it now offers 38 cabins for overnight stays.
