Sadegh Zibakalam was born in 1327 in the alley known as Duanavisha, in the neighborhood of Bazarcheh Abmangol in Tehran, south of Ray Street. His father was a businessman and owned a shop in Tehran's Qazvin Street, but he was also involved in political activities. He was a supporter of Mohammad Mossadegh, but in terms of organization, he was active in the Labor Party led by Mozaffar Baghai. His younger daughter is Maryam Zibakalam and his eldest daughter is Sarah Zibakalam, whom Zibakalam considers to be the exact opposite of her. Sara is married to Ahmad Tavakoli's son. After the family moved to a big house in Niavaran, Zibakalam enrolled in Rahnama High School on Monirieh Street. After receiving his high school diploma in 1345, he was admitted to Tehran University entrance exam, but his father opposed his studies in Iran and sent him to Austria to keep him away from the political conflicts of Tehran University. In Austria, he was influenced by Marxist ideas and left his studies in Austria half-finished and went to England in June 1346 on his father's advice. After a two-year college course, he goes to Huddersfield Polytechnic in the north of Great Britain and enters the field of chemical engineering. After completing his bachelor's degree, he entered the master's degree and then a doctorate in chemical engineering at the University of Bradford. After his release in 1355, the country's security apparatus prevented him from returning to England and continuing his doctorate course, and he had to stay in Iran and was employed as an instructor at the Technical Faculty of Tehran University. After the revolution in 1363, he returned to England to continue his studies, but instead of continuing his studies in the field of chemical engineering, he switched to humanities. He received his master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Bradford's School of Peace Studies. The subject of his doctoral thesis was Iran's Islamic Revolution and Western political philosophy. Zibakalam returned to Iran in 1369 and after two years entered the political science department of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Tehran University. Zibakalam was arrested on 23 May 1403 in three cases on charges of "propaganda activity against the system" and "publishing false information". became. In the first case, he was sentenced to "18 months of imprisonment" and "two years of ban on activities in parties, political groups and cyberspace".
