5 day tour of the Dolomites May 15th - 19th, 2024 by MH Motorcycle Tours Day 1 Arrival Wed May 15th, 2024 The route goes through 4 countries, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Finally, our Indian friend Vignesh, who is riding with us at MH, was able to join us on a tour again. Vignesh made it possible for us to explore India by motorbike, and I am eternally grateful to him for this experience. We drive from Dornhan to RW ob Zimmern, from there we take the motorway to Beuren an der Aach. Then we continue via Allensbach to Konstanz, where we cross the border. We drive along Lake Constance. We take a coffee break at Conny's Hafenbeitzli. Then we continue to Bludens, where we take our lunch break at the Wirtshaus Kohldampf. We continue to Montafon, where we stop to refuel in Vandans. We continue via Schrunz Ischgel, Reschen, Schlanders to Lasch. The route continues via Merano and Bozen to Kardaun. In Kardaun we take another short break, then we drive on to our accommodation in Barbian to the Kircher Sepp. Unfortunately this route threw a wrench in our plans and we could only get to the Reschen Pass via the Arlberg. So our lunch break, during which we wanted to meet Vignesh, didn't happen. Alex and Vignesh arrived shortly after us in the evening, but also safely in time for dinner. We were given a warm welcome by Renate at the Kircher Sepp inn, and everyone got their room straight away. The Kircher Sepp inn is highly recommended, the view is wonderful and you can start great tours from there. If anyone is interested, they can get the 3-day tours as a GPX file, they lead directly from the inn and back again.
