You probably know a woman who is autistic but doesn’t know it yet or hasn’t received the appropriate diagnosis. Adriana will share with us an alert about the underdiagnosis of autism among women of all ages, challenging the paradigm of a disability that is seen by society as inherently male. She also aims to explain to the audience a little more about how autistic people see the world and convey the message that diagnosis liberates and changes people’s lives for the better. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
