The Toledo Medical Association, through its “Dr. Atanasio Ballestero” Foundation, has scheduled the “Disability, handicap and dependency” conference, aimed at members, in which the most relevant aspects are addressed, as well as the differences between Temporary Disability, Permanent Disability, Disability and Dependency. Issues are also discussed regarding the procedure and scale for assessing these and the different benefits that can be obtained by obtaining recognition of these situations. The training session will feature speakers such as Dr. Marta Cerezo Rosell, Medical Inspector of the Medical Unit of the Provincial Directorate of the INSS in Toledo, Ms. Marta Sánchez López, Occupational Therapist, Technician of the Dependency Team of the Provincial Directorate of the Department of Social Welfare in Toledo and Dr. Alejandro Montero Pérez, Disability Assessor, whose interventions will be moderated by Dr. Roberto Sabrido, Head of Training. Aimed at doctors of all specialties The conference is of great interest to primary care physicians and those of other specialties, since patients often confuse the different terms in conversations.
