Artificial intelligence, blockchain, electronic passports. Digital transformation is not about the distant future, but about what awaits us now. The Supreme Economic Council discussed plans and strategies for the digital development of Chuvashia. Will the region switch completely to electronic services? When will cellular communications appear in remote settlements? And what new technologies await the republic? Anna Tsintovskaya examined the issues. Technologies make life easier. Currently, 128 projects of the Digital Transformation strategy are being implemented in the Republic. They cover 17 industries at once: healthcare, education, industry, transport and many others. DMITRY KRASNOV: “Last year, we exceeded the indicators for the region three times. In fact, we exceeded more than 50% and this year we are setting even more ambitious goals - up to 70%.” Increasing the share of socially significant services available electronically and increasing investments in domestic IT solutions are the main goals. Chuvashia can develop blockchain technologies and its own digital financial assets. -- Digital services allow us to very quickly collect objective data and analyze, group and, of course, develop effective solutions for further actions. However, the republic still has a problem with cellular communications. There are 573 settlements in the Republic with a population of less than 100 people. Not a single cellular operator simply provides Internet to such villages and towns. KRISTINA MAININA: "They connect FAPs or educational organizations, and then this network needs to be distributed to the household. Now it will be possible to distribute a certain network to households so that the Internet reaches every home." Representatives of Russian organizations offered their ideas for the digitalization of Chuvashia. Thus, Rostelecom will not only continue to build mobile communication stations in small towns, but is also ready to implement other technological projects. For example, to introduce a single national video surveillance platform. – Environmental monitoring, quality control of medical services, compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards, waste removal. IVAN ZIMA: “It can solve any task – be it monitoring construction, the work of services or security issues. There are about 200 different detectors that are configured for your specific task. I think this is one of our breakthrough products. It can allow you to use what has been delivered without investing money in infrastructure.” Chuvashia can become a center for the creation of new IT technologies. The republic has one of the best digital development strategies. This opinion was expressed by a specialist from Moscow. ANNA NIKITCHENKO: “Now, when a huge number of company employees are abroad from Russia, Chuvashia has a unique opportunity to become a center of competence in the development of artificial intelligence and data markup.” In the current conditions, it is important to implement digital solutions in an accelerated mode. This will help preserve jobs, as well as create new services and products, access to which has been blocked by sanctions. Anna Tsintovskaya, Sergey Yemelyanov, Republic
