In the second episode of the Difu podcast series "What does climate protection cost?" Ulrike Vorwerk and Björn Weber talk about the so-called "scenario workshops". Over a period of three years, we traveled to municipalities across Germany to talk to representatives at the municipal level about investments in measures to achieve their respective climate protection goals. The focus was on key questions: How high are the investments required for the respective measures? And which strategies can municipalities use to reduce CO₂ emissions particularly effectively? Various scenarios were developed and played through using special software. We talk about the findings from these scenario workshops in this episode.
