Sauron's reign of terror reigned supreme - unattainable, everlasting. Until finally it was no longer. At the end of the Third Age, Sauron was defeated. He was finally defeated and reduced to power, almost to the point of extinction, whereupon his empire collapsed. But was there no legacy of the dark ruler? Was the reign of terror in Middle Earth for over 6,000 years finally over?
