Probably the most prolific sociologist in France, Bernard Lahire has been investigating academic failure and success for several decades. But his "palette" is much broader and more colorful, since he has also written on Kafka, the sociology of dreams, and the mechanisms that give value to a painting. At the head of a collective of 17 researchers, he spent four years investigating children aged 5 and 6 to understand the inequalities that affect very young children from kindergarten onwards. He will reveal the results of his survey, published under the title Enfances de classe, and will discuss his own childhood memories and the future of sociology. An interview conducted by Olivier Pascal-Moussellard in 2019 during the Télérama Dialogues meetings organized at the Théâtre du Rond-Point in Paris. #sociology Did you like this podcast format?
