Visit Europe's largest prison museum and feel the special atmosphere creeping right under your skin. Meet prisoners and guards as they walk past like shadows in the hallway. You can see and hear them on screens, where they talk about everything from family relationships to problems with drugs. The spectacular end to the visit comes when you walk through Lorentzen's tunnel: a reconstruction of the 18-meter-long escape tunnel that Carl August Lorentzen dug under the prison yard in 1949. The prison museum has won three awards for its exciting and vivid presentation.
