We discuss Dario Sztajnszrajber's class on Kant's Critique of Pure Reason. Beyond the fact that it is a brilliant, poetic, intelligent and entertaining class, we find some controversial points: his reduction of Kantian theory to an empirical psychology, the assertion that categories are innate, the insistence on a bodily register that is completely absent in Kant's text. These biases seem erroneous to us if what we are trying to do is introduce the Kantian text to those who approach its pages for the first time.
