After 1948, when the terrible consequences of World War II the wars were already slowly winding down, unfortunately for us, other dark and bad times for Czechoslovakia began to loom. Czechoslovakia came under the influence of the Soviet Union, a communist dictatorship led by the ruling Communist Party began. The events culminated on the night of August 21, 1968, when the invasion troops of the Warsaw Pact led by the USSR invaded the Czechoslovakia.
