We continue the conversation about the origins of the Lithuanian state. Last time we talked about the year 1183 and what led to it. It was a turning point in the appearance of Lithuania externally and a turning point internally, which can be identified with the formation of the state of Lithuania. However, in Lithuanian historiography, the origins of the Lithuanian state are usually associated with Mindaugas. And there is still a considerable time gap before Mindaugas, and the following question arises: who was there before Mindaugas - who ruled Lithuania? There are few answers to that question in the sources. We will try to examine them with historian Inga Baranauskiene.
