About :

The 'COVID-19' disaster relief fund is accelerating the discussion on introducing basic income in our society. Public opinion and experts both agree on the necessity of a disaster income method to compensate for damages. However, 'basic income', which unconditionally provides a certain amount of money to all citizens on a regular basis, is a discussion on a different level that can shake the foundation of a country's welfare system. Those in favor argue that basic income is a new welfare policy and economic policy for the future. On the other hand, there is criticism that it has a small effect on stimulating consumption and rather causes bigger problems such as tax increases due to financial burden.
