CUPRA has launched the new 204 and 245 hp Formentor VZ 1.4 e-HYBRID DSG, the Spanish sports car brand's first electrified SUV. Its plug-in hybrid system enables good dynamic performance and a range in electric mode of up to 59 km. This sophisticated combination makes it possible to offer a 245 hp CUPRA Formentor for every moment, and the versatility of its plug-in hybrid engine, its 13 kWh batteries and its high total autonomy offer the possibility of having a vehicle with a sporty feel like few others, which also allows for long journeys, and at the same time, having a vehicle that can be used daily, significantly reducing its consumption and emissions, and which also has all the advantages of having the DGT's 'ZERO emissions' environmental label, thanks to its autonomy in 100% electric mode of up to 55 km. Its propulsion system has a 1.4 TSI four-cylinder petrol engine block that offers 150 hp (110 kW) of power and 250 Nm of maximum torque, and the electric motor of 115 hp (85 kW) and 330 Nm of torque that is offered practically at all times. Working together, it develops a power of 204 and 245 hp and a torque of 400 Nm that is offered constantly, since it uses the electric motor from a standstill, until the thermal motor more easily reaches the optimal engine speeds to jointly push to maximum performance.
